Account Director � Retention & Development Team
An exciting opportunity exists for a new Account Director in the Retention & Development team within the Gorkana Group due to a promotion.

R&D Account Directors are at the centre of the Group�s Sales team. They perform a vital role being responsible for retaining and growing existing Durrants business and upselling and cross-selling the Group�s other brands and products.

The role involves:
  • Managing, retaining and growing a sector(s) of premium and key clients � including some of the largest clients by value the Group has
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key decision makers and influencers at all levels within existing clients
  • Working closely with the Durrants Customer Service team, Gorkana Account Management team and sales and marketing functions to ensure client contact is efficient and coordinated

Part or fully CIMA qualified with a great attitude, you will be looking for a role in a SME where you can be involved from a board level downward with the management reporting.

Sitting with the decision makers and the sales teams, whom you will work closely with, you will provide the reporting, modelling and analyses that helps make decisions within the Organisation.

1st/2nd line Application and Data Support Analyst
A great opportunity to join a vibrant, exciting and growing media business. Professional and experienced 1st/2nd line Application and Data Support Analyst required. Salary �23,000 to �25,000 per annum plus 7% on call allowance.

We are looking for an experienced Application and Data Support Analyst. This is a key role responsible for ensuring the smooth running, installation and modification of all of the company�s bespoke application and database systems. This will largely involve application support over a wide range of application technologies. There is also a strong element of database work in both Oracle and SQL Server.

As well as providing 1st and 2nd line application support to internal users, you will undertake routine data modifications, data mining and reporting. You need to have excellent communication skills as you assess calls to our Service Desk, identifying priorities and ensuring that all calls are logged and responded to within the required timeframes. From time to time you will need to liaise with third party suppliers, manufacturer and our internal Infrastructure, Database and Development team to escalate and resolve issues as required.

To succeed in this role
  • You will have at least two years previous experience of working within a busy IT environment working with Oracle and SQL Servers.
  • You will preferably be a graduate, with a degree in computing/IT or relevant work experience with Oracle, MS SQL Server, MySQL, SQL language, MDX language and SSAS.
  • You will be highly computer literate with high levels of numeracy and literacy.
  • You will be a confident and clear communicator, you will know how to influence people and you will have the ability to forge strong working relationships with your colleagues.
  • You will be a provider of solutions to problems and the sort of person who can make things happen.
The successful applicant will work 37.5 hrs/week on rota basis from 08:00 - 18:30 Monday to Friday. Your team provide cover out of hours and you will also have to provide on call support to a high SLA out of hours one week in five on a rota basis.

From time to time you will need to liaise with third party suppliers, manufacturers and our internal Infrastructure, Database and Development team to escalate and resolve issues as required.

To succeed in this role
  • You will have at least two years previous experience of working within a busy IT environment working with Windows XP/2003 and Active Directory.
  • You will have a basic knowledge of some or all of the following � IP, networking (basic Cisco), WiFi ,Exchange, BES, Citrix, VMWare, voice systems including mobile, PC imaging, patching, anti-virus, proxy servers/web filters
  • You will be a confident and clear communicator, you will know how to influence people and you will have the ability to forge strong working relationships with your colleagues.
